“Offline Is the New Luxury” — a visionary slogan introduced in 2016 by Founder of World Digital Detox Day (WDDD).Launched in 2016, this slogan was born from a powerful vision: true luxury is not merely about material possessions, health, wealth, or exclusive experiences. It is about the freedom to own our time, enjoy uninterrupted conversations, nurture meaningful relationships, connect with nature, and experience life's beautiful moments without digital distractions.Long before digital dependency and excessive screen time became major global concerns, Dr. Rekha Chaudhari recognised that in an increasingly technology-driven world, human attention, personal freedom, and genuine connections would become our most precious luxuries. What began as a visionary message in 2016 has become increasingly relevant in today's hyperconnected world. “Offline Is the New Luxury” is no longer just a slogan; it is a global call to reclaim our time, restore human connections, and rediscover the joy of living beyond screens.Today, through World Digital Detox Day, this message is being championed by ambassadors and wellness advocates across more than 80+countries, inspiring individuals, families, educational institutions, and communities to embrace digital balance and meaningful human connection.Because the greatest luxury in the digital age is not being connected to everything, but being truly present for what matters most.Offline Is the New Luxury — A Vision Since 2016.World Digital Detox Day | Turn Off, Tune In.
